IV. Already Left

IV. Already Left

A Poem by Castalia

Just because I’m gone,
Do you need to forget me?
Just because I’m forgotten,
Do you need to vanish me?

Don’t
silence me,
I’m already mute.
Did you hear my screams?
Did you listen to my whisper?

I’ll stay
quiet.
I won’t say a word.
I’ll
guard you secrets.
I won’t speak your
sins.

It’s dark and
cold.
These tear-full eyes can tell you everything.
If you’d care, you wouldn’t be so blind,
To see the horrors they tell.

Go away, leave me here.
Skip away, along with your
life.
I’ll find my own.
I hope one day, you’ll come back

And see my beautiful end.
