This is NOT my story and I do not claim ownership.
What I DO claim is my interpretation of the machine translation (from Korean) of this web novel. I will be updating it as I finish cleaning it up.
It will not be perfect and I may continue to go back and keep cleaning it up, feel free to leave notes if you can think of specific ways to clean up parts that sound bad.
please don't waste either of our times by simply saying "This doesn't feel right" because yeah, I'm sure I feel the same way I just haven't figured out how to fix it.


I am doing this clean up and stuff because I WANT TO CONTINUE TO READ THIS STORY AND NO ONE HAS OFFICIALLY TRANSLATED IT OR I WOULD JUST BUY THE DARN THING.
Please note that the machine translation continues to refer to Zeline (MC) as 'he' and 'grandson' and while I'm trying to catch them all, sometimes my brain glosses over it, please point these out if you notice them, I find the confusion highly irritating.

I will also be using the tapas translation names of the characters for the ML and FL but the rest of them might be a bit off but I will try to at least keep them consistent.
note: in the machine translation our FL Zeline is called like... Ger, Zer, and other things I forget that I used 'find and replace' to remove, and the same with our ML Valhyle, so its very possible that other characters have similar naming issues but as they aren't as prominent in the story I might miss it. I apologies, but I probably wont care unless it truly affects the flow of the story.
On another hand, if you like light novel/ web novels Ascendance of a Book worm is amazing and is being officially translated.

THANKS, also this story has 171 'episodes' and I might not update them in order, but they will be named by their 'episode'
EDIT: due to gate keeping assholes I think i'll keep the episodes unpublished unless someone asks for an episode
