My love

My love

A Poem by C.Symister

When she's away
I stand alone
like the wisp

Oh how I long
to feel her softness,
the solace of her kiss

She is mysterious
I ponder her ways, think her thoughts.
Maybe I'll never know

Such biting innocence.
It holds my thoughts,
infuriatingly so

Not even she
can sate my hunger,
nor slake my lust

Such desire
exposed to elements
can ne'er end nor rust

Is ablaze her love.
Her passion,
like fire

Consumes all right,
all wrong
'til end expire

Her aura,
like death,
my soul it does own

Death, like my great love
tis far greater rest
than I've ever known
