Beauty

Beauty

A Poem by C.Symister

Beauty

True beauty it has an unrighteous feel.
A truly unattainable ideal.
It can scarcely be compared to a celestial being,
because it is beyond all beyond human touch, beyond feeling.
Beauty is not for the faint of heart.
To obtain, you must be able to play your part.
Tis’ a desire which is richly famed.
Never will it be something that can be tamed.

Such radiant brilliance, could it be?
Only a trained eye true beauty will see.
Beauty as yours can often be cruel.
It was never meant for the lonely fool.
If this were ever true then how,
how is it I’m with you right here ,right now?
So I now see it as my eternal duty,
to jealously protect your magnificent beauty.
