What we took away from nature

What we took away from nature

A Poem by Luna

We follow the law
And divide innocence from guilt
Divide perpetrators and victims
Discuss it and fight it

But who is really guilty?
We are all guilty
We laugh and use what we take from nature
We did something we shouldn't have done

Took an orangutan home for shampoo,
Cut the lungs of the earth to make furniture
We are unforgivable
We can never be forgiven

However, our greed does not stop here
Kill and abuse animals
And that also applies to children
And make slaves, sell them, commit crimes

But, still, I'm helpless...
