Climate change

Climate change

A Poem by Luna

It's as hot as hell outside

Humans invading Earth

Taken homes

Taken lifes

Lying to ourselves every day

Telling ourselves it’s ok

Rationalisation happening everywhere

It was winter yesterday,

Now it’s summer

This land was covered in ice

Now it is burning hot

They burn trees for their foods

Killing animals for their clothes

Human’s greed has lead us to mass extinction

But, if one thing is different,

This is one is much bigger than others

Entire ecosystems are collapsing

But, still, they look away saying ‘No’

You know it's serious, you know it's urgent

Why don't you admit it?
