You say I changed

But actually that is me

Paint me with your paints

Even thought you give me a million dollers

Even thought you whisper with sweetness

You say I curse alot than before

So what? That is me

I don't care anymore

I don't care if I let down someone

I don't care if I am a nice person that everyone loves

I wanna be me

Whatever you talk about me

Whatever you asset me

How dare you

You don't know me very well

Don't rate me

I'm not a doll selling in a market

I'm not a thing to give you joy

You don't have the authority to trample me

You don't know anything

Do Not talk like that to me when you don't know me

I like the strong statement of empowerment in this poem. It is one that I feel can resonate in the hearts of this new generation. Especially in these times where there is so much hate and bullying on line. It is a good poem Bella. Thank you for sharing.
