Keeping the corners clean in any room of a home is an on-going job. It seems that all kinds of dirt and small particles make their way into corners, there to be mixed with humidity to make a corner look unkempt. Additionally, it seems the broom or vacuum just doesn’t get into those corners to remove what has been gathered there. So it is that the homemaker must take extra steps to keep those corners clean. Here are five ideas that should help:

1.     Probably the most basic is to get down on hands and knees with a damp cloth and pick and scrub the dirt away. This should be done at least once a month to keep the build-up of debris at a minimum.

2.     Sometimes the dirt in a corner has become hardened into a substance that doesn’t want to be easily cleaned away with just a damp cloth. This is when an old toothbrush with stiff bristles will usually do the trick. Spray a little water on the offending corner and let set for several minutes. Then using some elbow grease and your trusty toothbrush, brush away the softened “goo.”  Then clean the corner with a damp cloth.

3.     For corners that seem to be stained after removing stubborn debris, use a solution of baking soda and water and let stand for 15 minutes. Again, use your toothbrush to further eliminate the stain. Rinse and wipe with a damp cloth.

4.     Some vacuums have a special attachment designed to clean out corners. If this attachment is used once a week, the build-up of dirt and debris in corners will usually be eliminated. Still, it would be a good idea to wipe the corners with a damp cloth at least once a month.

5.     The most helpful trick to keeping corners clean is to make a concentrated effort to add them to your regular cleaning schedule. It is easy to pass the corners by, and thus the dirt and debris begin to build up. This idea of regular cleaning is especially true if you have pets. It is amazing how much dog and cat hair end up in corners.

Cleaning a home is a task that must be done, like it or not. And, getting down on hands and knees to get into corners, especially those in the kitchen and bathrooms, is not a task anyone enjoys. Still, the task must be done on a regular basis, or the build-up will be unattractive, hard to clean, and most of all, a place where germs will collect. Gather your courage and keep those corners clean. As the saying goes: “A stitch (cleaned corner) in time saves nine” (more difficult work later).

Seriously, guy. You're trying to help that company drum up business by spamming with with a poorly written "article"article on cleaning CORNERS

Making it worse, you obviously don't come from Canada, the US, or Europe, where they have cleaning devices and supplies that don't require getting on the knees with a scrub brush. to clean corners.

Truthfully, this is one of the dumbest posts, ever. And you better hope that the people of that company never see this idiocy.
