After WW2

After WW2

A Poem by CassieBookWorm8

We uninte skylines as our banner stands " if not proudly, than with strength " to attest to our survival skills

as we shelve our differences to face the disaster.

Generations of dispute disappear in this classic battle

were our bonds give us confidance to confront

those memories we lived in horror.

All things wrong, and all things right,

are pushed away for the greater good.

Morals push the line of acceptable

but are not questioned, because they can’t be:

we need to stay focused and connected if we are to win.

We stand firm in our goal to bring

balance back to this sacred land.

We fight so we can live another day.
