Never Ever Ever

Coughing, sneezing, dying

Heal me please

Laying here, begging

For you to come to me

I'm out here all alone

In the middle of the forest

Trying to find my way out

But I can't do that without you

 

Lost souls wander near me sometimes

They talk to me a lot

Tales of sorrow and guilt

Some the same as my story

They are waiting for someone to heal them

Someone to make them whole again

With the chance of getting out of this place

And seeing our family and friends once more

 

But all the the others who don't have the story

Say that it's crazy to look

Becuase noone ever has found that thing

That makes them whole again

That is why we are roming around in the woods

Looking high, looking low

So that we can find that something or someone

And prove the others wrong

 

I stumble and fall over tree branches

Get bruises and cuts all over me

Looking as hard as I can

But getting no where fast

The souls that were with me left

Becuase they lost hope in their quest

I kept going on though

And don't listen to the rest

 

I find an unfamiliar part of the forest

I'v never been here before

I see a man laying on the ground near a bush

With the eyes of a kind-hearted soul and the body of a god

I walk closer becuase I knew he was the one for me

I inch ever so closer to find a women at his side

She was as beautiful as ever

And was dubbed to be his

 

My heart broke into pieces that very moment

In front of him and her in the forest

And my confidence was shattered

I give up and sank to the ground

My quest was a failure at last

The others were right

I will never find that thing that I'm looking for

Never, ever, ever
