Stars

Vast across the universe
Solar systems teeming with them
These little things called stars
Swarm the open night sky

Sizes big and small
Lights bright and dim
Illuminating the darkness of space
Giving hope to the ones who are lost

They can be found not just in the sky
Hidden stars are lost themselves
Behind closed eyes of our loves
While they sleep in the dreams of us

A star resides in each and every one person
It leads us to our calling
In our time of need, it out shines all negatives
Making you special in your own way

When that moment happens
Celebrities are made and put on TV
Though they don't really matter
Your star is the thing that makes you special

Like the ones in the sky
Tiny as they may seem
When viewed up close
Nothing is more beautiful then a pure star.

Bright and brilliant seeming to shimmer in the night sky and we notice, such is how special friends and loved ones are, they shine bright to us and we notice them in a crowd like that special shimmering star in the night sky that catches our attention while so many million don't. A lovely enchanting poem which I enjoyed a lot!

Beautiful!!!!!!!! I love this poem!!!!!! It captures the very esscence of the uniqueness of a star, as well as the importance of the light within us all. I also love how you use a star to capture the light within us, because it shows that no matter how dark the world around us is, we can still shine. Great imagery!!!
