Breaking Point

Pushed to my limit
A soft wind is all it takes
To send me over the edge
And take me where ever
I may lay for the rest of time

Pressure compacts me inside
Unable to reach the outside world
Going through my thoughts alone
Making a choice
And then going through with it

I tower over the edge
Poke and prodded to give in
To fall and give up
This is it, the beginning of me
I bend my knees and jump for my life.
