In God We Trust

I wrote this after reflecting on the dictionary definition of hope. I have been very spiritual lately.

Hope sometimes Hides

Then it boasts bold and Brave

Flickers inside

A burning flame

Snuffing out

Into smoky swirls

Only to light again

A puff of believing

Relieving

Dark days

Wishing for different ways

Your words conjure an image comparing hope with a flame... the flame needs fuel to thrive, as hope needs encouragement to stay alive.
