A Poem About LoveA Poem by Casey FrancisWrite a poem about love?
That is something I choose not to even think of. Love is used as an excuse for those who only want a reason to act crazy Acting upon impulse and lust. Love is a disease that will grind your heart into a fine dust. Love is like a gorgeous combination of your wildest dreams. It wraps you in its candy coated cloak, showing you only what you wish to see. Soon, it will be too late and your heart will be ripping at the seams. You wish to know the truth and what will be? Well, I have told you and, now, the rising sun of truth dawns. I do not wish to frighten you with this beautiful lie, I merely wish to warn you. Sometimes, it honestly makes you want to die if it hurts. Heartbreak can be the worst thing if you let it get the best of you. So tell me, do you still wish to continue? Love is something you choose to believe in of your own accord. You search and search for it, It's not exactly plastered on a billboard. I imagine it isn't easy to find that one true love to share this infectious disease with, But once you've found it you won't want to let it go. That is the worst kind.
