A Poem by Casanova

In my bed

A deep sleep

taking a rose

I rise up

Through the ceiling

Past the roof

Over my yard

Down the street

To the place

Where Love dwells

To her window

By her side

I Kiss her

She rises up

We dance together

In pale moonlight

She moans sweetly

A nice dream

Then she awakes

Only to find

Just one rose

(poem was written for my wife when she went away one weekend and I sat down and wrote the poem)
