Looking for honest feedback of all types. It can be vague or detailed, I appreciate all comments! Keep in mind this is a very rough first draft. It has not gone through any editing phases, and most likely will change quite a bit before the final version. Thank you for taking the time to look it over! I hope you enjoyed it.
Though there are some adult situations/content, this novel is considered YA. There is tribal nudity and profanity (in context) but never explicit content. All mature content is accurate to the time period of the setting, and kept in context to the story.

Outside of this story, Khet is an arabic word meaning "wood" (which I picked because it was short an.. read moreOutside of this story, Khet is an arabic word meaning "wood" (which I picked because it was short and fit into the naming language I used for the rest of my characters) within the context of the story though I'm taking it to mean "Stone in a river" which will be explained later by Leander within the story.
