Entre Nous

I submit my poetry to cadence.
Allow it its rhythm
Its shine
I submit my words
to you
And drape them in shame.
I will always
leave these words
as sand marks time
As tide, the moon
As I, to you
I sell these words
I sing these songs
I call to you and
herald the spaces between
The spaces between my words
The silence
Simply bend your ear to
