Ayla

Ayla

A Poem by Carson Kramer

Ayla Littlebird
Flapped her wings awake,
the warm breeze renewing
her rachis.
Ayla Littlebird
Breathed through her beak
And tasted earth, and day's de`jeuner.
Ayla Littlebird
dug her tiny talons in the foot of her nest,
sprung her bended knees
And unfurled her wings.
Flight

Ayla Littlebird
took to her sky.
Ayla Littlebird
soared her heights.
Ayla Littlebird
spied all.
Ayla Littlebird
did certainly cry.

Ayla Littlebird
still she flies.
Ayla Littlebird.
On, oer the winds,
Ayla Littlebird
committed no sins.

Ayla Littlebird is free and pure.
Ayla Littlebird is an eye in the sky.
Ayla Littlebird laughs,
and often cries.

About
You have come to the Nom de Plume, of the writer known as, Nipplegrinder. It was suggested that I would receive a more welcoming response, if I hadn't such a repulsive screen name. (Thank you, Lyn.) .. more..
