My Prison

My Prison

A Poem by Carson Kramer

Did the time you tasted me tell you
to savor me?
Did the time your teeth met my flesh
tell you to eat as a starving stray?
Did the time your lips met mine
tell you to leave everything behind
and rush to my side, to my aid, to service
of me?
Did the time you looked into my eyes
leave you breathless, and have you caught it, yet?
Did my touch render you willful to
drink of me, all wiles, wills, and dangers?
Did the time I slipped inside
Capture your soul?
Did you know that I am your prisoner?
Are you willing to open the cell door
and let me......

About
You have come to the Nom de Plume, of the writer known as, Nipplegrinder. It was suggested that I would receive a more welcoming response, if I hadn't such a repulsive screen name. (Thank you, Lyn.) .. more..
