So, Tell Me

So, Tell Me

A Poem by Carson Kramer

Did you type through tears today?
Did you type the words
you really wanted to say?
Was your heart in the meaning behind them,
within them?
Did the words you typed encapsulate
how you truly feel?
Are those words true, succinct?
You typed those words while in a particular
emotion, or headspace.
Did the words serve the feeling?
The emotion?
Are the words you typed your own?
Do you own those words?
Do you own the emotion behind them?
If so, you're just like me.
And it's wonderful to know a
kindred spirit.
It's wonderful to know
You.

About
You have come to the Nom de Plume, of the writer known as, Nipplegrinder. It was suggested that I would receive a more welcoming response, if I hadn't such a repulsive screen name. (Thank you, Lyn.) .. more..
