Dichotomy

Dichotomy

A Poem by Carson Kramer

Heaven sent
Hell bent
Dichotomy
Easy going
Tight as a snare drum
Laid back
Fist forward
Running to flame
Walking away from ice
Soft whispered enticements
Bellowed beckonings
Erudite
Salty as f**k
Guardedly optimistic
Decidedly cynical
Seafarer
Land lubber
Animal lover
Meat eater
Cart before horse
Barn door secured
Tolerant
Quick judge
Morning person
Night owl
Strength beyond measure
Easily brought to tears
Aren't we all
Or perhaps only you
A dichotomy.

The toughest are often the most tender too.
We can all be what we need to be in the moment.
I enjoyed this.

About
You have come to the Nom de Plume, of the writer known as, Nipplegrinder. It was suggested that I would receive a more welcoming response, if I hadn't such a repulsive screen name. (Thank you, Lyn.) .. more..
