The Heart Of A Tugboat

The Heart Of A Tugboat

A Poem by Carson Kramer
"

I wrote this for a dear friend of mine. Her name is Hope. She's a peach.

"
I nicknamed her, Tugboat.
For with bright spotlight upon rigid barge,
does she bring those she is tasked to bring to port,
so lovingly home.
During storm or calm, this Tugboat is unwavering.
This Tugboat is consistent with task.
This Tugboat is consistent with care.
This Tugboat offers Hope to wayward barge.
Unfailingly, this Tugboat has been an engine for barges
that never knew they needed her to move, and align.
This Tugboat is special.
She has strength, seemingly divine.

About
You have come to the Nom de Plume, of the writer known as, Nipplegrinder. It was suggested that I would receive a more welcoming response, if I hadn't such a repulsive screen name. (Thank you, Lyn.) .. more..
