I Am Clean NowA Poem by Carson KramerA bit of an attempt at Historical Erotica, with a huge dash of alliteration.
The weary warrior arrived alive at gate to glory. Home.
At glimpse of Goddess, dropped his dented shield, his chipped sword, and heaved heavy sigh of relegating relief. Goddess closed gate behind them, and took her warrior's weapons, and placed them in their case beside their bed. She lovingly returned to her warrior, and guided his beaten body to the benevolent banquet he so decidedly deserved. Goddess gave rich gravy to her warrior upon the meats he'd slain just day past. Rewarded him with red wine she'd fermented from her very soul. Goddess then gave rise to her sated warrior, and led him to the watercloset. Removing the pelts, belts, and boots so gently, she helped him into the rich, luxuriant bath that the fire in her soul had heated. Easing the warrior into these waters, she touched his injured cheek, and softly kissed the wound. She then dipped the ends of her flaxen hair into the water, and wiped wound clean. Lifting soap to sponge, Goddess washed her weary warrior, piece by piece part by part. The warrior looked into the eyes of the Goddess, and said, "I am clean now, Goddess. Dry me, and I shall return all your favors". © 2018 Carson KramerReviews

It was suggested that I would receive a more welcoming response, if I hadn't such a repulsive screen name. (Thank you, Lyn.) .. more..Writing
