Vastness

Vastness

A Poem by Carson Kramer

The vastness of her soul is absolutely immeasurable.
Her sensuality is evident in every move, every gesture, every smile.
Her essence is a wondrous sight to behold.
Her compassion is a measure of which to compare ourselves.
The vastness of her beauty compares not with others, but with all.
The vastness of her passion is the muse that gifts the greatest of artists.
She is, in every way, simply a woman, but all these things, rolled into one,
are the things that make men wage war.

Good work, Carson. Beauty is good but it can be a burden. You have captured the essence of feminine desirability, which entails so much more than a pretty face. Some say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. For me, the beauty of the smile shines brighter when back-lit by smarts and character. Still the beauty can a pleasant distraction. A face to launch a thousand ships can lose its luster before the war is over, denying a champion his due. Just ask any Dear John letter recipient. It sounds like your Helen has it all.

You have come to the Nom de Plume, of the writer known as, Nipplegrinder. It was suggested that I would receive a more welcoming response, if I hadn't such a repulsive screen name. (Thank you, Lyn.) .. more..
