PersistenceA Poem by Carson KramerThe beauty of a moment fades to memory. The once treasured existence of what was. Where scent of you once recalled the times and dreams shared. Now these glimpses are fleeting. And the world is at once so much larger and seemingly smaller. Hearing your name in song or show holds no court where it once had. Its utterance from these lips has nearly stopped altogether. I've ceased the thoughts of where you are and that bed of yours with whom it's now shared. It no longer matters how days pass I'm much better now if anyone should ask. Regarding that hold, the one on my heart? It's been removed from me, I've made a new start. I've now stopped thinking of you and yours I noticed that truth a few days before. I'm sad for that, for sure, and indeed. But it's exactly how things should be. I no longer miss you, and nay I should And miss me? I don't think you could. © 2018 Carson KramerReviews

It was suggested that I would receive a more welcoming response, if I hadn't such a repulsive screen name. (Thank you, Lyn.) .. more..Writing
