Dearest C

Dearest C

A Poem by Carrie Manor
"

a poem of friendship. ;) excerpt: Dearest C, how sweet your smile is to me. And how I wish I could crown thee; with a wreath of roses red.

"

Dearest C,

how sweet your smile is to me.

And how I wish I could crown thee;

with a wreath of roses red.

Sprinkle a bouquet, with tiny drops of water clear.

and with thee, in happiness I shall never shed a tear.

And shower thy ground,

all around where thee walk.

with rays of the sun,

as bright, and warm as the blossom of your soul.

Our laughs,

gentle conversation you share with me.

Thou ‘art so tender and warm.

Our souls,

at times may seem like  grandfather clocks, and vintage books,

Skeleton keys, antiques of an old mystique.

I know not yet,

what love should mean to me.

I think though,

as warm as thee has fashioned me...

What is it I feel blushed upon my bosom??

So mild, so tender,

yet so fervent ever so.

Thy visage,

the smile of my heart.

Into ink I pour,

and stroke words of my ardour

All your gladness,

I hold within  my countenance.

a friendship I will carry forever more.
