What know I ?

What know I ?

A Poem by Carrie Manor

Angels cloak those in anguish,

those who weep forsaken tears.

The masses that made,

those that man never forgave.

Sometimes I find myself

an idle wanderer,

carrying songs from afar,

and often I wonder,

who ‘art thou? Who art I?

Are we meant to be?

Perhaps, be we a petty mistake??

A spec of sand,

but without one, without another,

be there, wouldn’t be none.

No beach, without each spec,

no lush grass lawn, without each blade of grass.

Nor ocean without each droplet.

Alone, we are none. Together we are the world!

We bare her sweetest alms!
