La,la,la,laA Poem by Carrie ManorA poem about an egotistical personLa,la,la,la, in trifling ponderations, don’t never I think, I walk about the grove, negligence of where I tramp, I find myself bumping, shoving; surely though, I never doubt it not be a fault of my own! For I am me! Sure, I’ll say I am not that important, but aye, aye, aye, if another should get in my way! La,la,la,la, should my horse turn a corner, and the carriage be scraped, the mistress of the other may scream and faint, but they should have watched themselves, had they not seen that I was prancing? Let them blare there sirens! Make useless noise! Should I remove myself from your way? Well, what about mine? Nothing done, nothing said- La,la,la,la, it is never a fault of my own. Tyrants! Scoundrels! Watch where you are going! My, my tch, tch everyone is rude! Why art thou so? La,la,la,la, La,la,la,la.... Oh! Dearly me! © 2011 Carrie ManorAuthor's Note
