just talking to myself again

just talking to myself again

A Poem by carpe noctem

She's protesting to end hunger

while putting away paychecks for college

an active soldier in the war for local music

fighting depression as she keeps her 4.0 GPA

She's a punk

kickin it some converse music blaring green day

she's concious about the world but speaks from her heart

and cares too much to do her any good

she's short but she's fierce

bailing out friends who left her for dead

she doesn't have a great home life

but she trys her best with everything she can.

I look up to this girl

although when she looks me in eyes

she looks up to me

I love her and always will

but when she died inside

lost her spark.

I died

Beautiful
The depth of your words

A depth that only you and she can give meaning to... a depth that only you both know
That is a thing of pure beauty
something that never goes away... something to treasure... something to really hold on to

Paradoxically sad and emotionally tempting...
