Simply WhiteA Poem by CarolynLewisPoeGod gave us seasons. I wrote about one, winter...With arms open wide, the white blanket embrases the land. It’s quietly unfolded and it flutters softly in the wind that envelops all other sound. This whiteness only comes for a time and a season. Then, the good Father comes, after the sun has dried it out, made it invisable, He folds it up. He puts it in his closet until the season for the blanket of snow comes again. © 2009 CarolynLewisPoeAuthor's Note
