Mother May I Wish?

Mother May I Wish?

A Poem by Caroline Grimm
"

An acrostic poem about my mother.

"
I Wish you were...
At a loss for words
Good to me
One of the people I could trust
Overwhelmed with guilt
Drowning in dread
I wish you were more than you are
I wish you...
Made space for me
Often thought about changing
Think of how bad you treat me
Heard my pleas
Experienced my pain
Remember everything you've done
instead of being there you have made me...

Uncapable of liking myself
Riddled with lies
Notably depressed
Outstandingly suicidal
Terribly mistaken

Author's Note

Caroline Grimm
Bold claim, I'm aware. And please no comments saying she is trying, I know. Just please don't say anything defending her she is bipolar and extremely narcissistic and probably more than that.
