I guess when I said id love you forever I meant it

in my mind you live rent free how am I supposed to be?

be the person who lives without you

when all I think about now--is you

saying "I love you" to anyone else doesn't feel right

its all I think about at night

I wish you felt the same

whenever you hear my name

I hope you feel that deep pain 

and remember what we used to be 

when it was just you and me

you were my whole career

and I can't make that any more clear

I love you for you

and I hope you do too

if you saw yourself in my mind I think you would understand

understand everything that came from your hand
