A poem about never being loved back.

I'd sacrifice the world for you

 and maybe that's just what I'll do

 maybe I'll set everything on fire

 while the screams sound like a choir

 maybe I'll bomb the place

 to wipe everyone off the Earth’s face

 I'd do anything for you

 but for me there's nothing you'd do

 and that's killing me inside

 but I'll let those feelings subside

 and save them for some other guy

 and find some other reason why

 then move on to the next

 so he breaks my heart through text

 but I'll never feel the same after you

 and I know that to be true

 because you're like every other guy

 that leaves to let my heart die

 so I will sacrifice everything I have now

 just for you to leave and say wow

Every relationship changes you a little bit and frequently you learn a little bit about yourself each time as well. It can be hard to realize that you are far more committed than someone else (romantically speaking or otherwise), but it's probably a good sign that you recognize that's happening. Something tells me you are far stronger than maybe you realize and that one day you'll find the person who will love you back and not make you feel this way.
