Awaken Me

I want to be wrapped up
 
in the arms of love

Lost

in an eternal dream
 
of endless bliss
Sheltered


from the raging storms of life



in the strong arms


of a loving man



 

I want to be swept away


on a sea of content



Afloat

on an ocean of joy



Engulfed

in the sweet delight

of a lover’s touch



 

I want to be caressed

by the warmth of desire



Kissed

with the raging fire of a passion

burning out of control



 

But love lies dormant

within me



A silent dream

that never ends



 

Encased

in a single tear

shed a lifetime ago



It waits eagerly

for the moment of sweet release



For the light of true love

to set it free


For the one

who will come

and awaken
 me
