This was an enchanting read. I loved the presentation of the poem to make it look almost like a ballerinas figure. Your description of a snow drop in comparing it to a beautiful ballerina is top notch from its slender stems to its white skirt, you illustrate a beautiful image of a snow drop.

as i mentioned to chris shaw below, I'm a visual person so I like to dress up my words with images & backgrounds.
i know a lot of poets think that poetic compositions ought to stand on their own, on the other hand nowadays visual artists often include words within their paintings or installations. i think whatever the writers or artists want is ok with me.

This little poem is exquisite in both its presentation and language. We both love snowdrops. For me, they are the bringers of spring. Light after the winter dark. They are a delight. Really nice work Carola. Happy Easter.

perfect ballerina shape...my second ex danced ballet, really well.
I used to love to go to rehearsals and see the process of making the dances happen.
this reminds me of her...and even at 71, she still looks youthful...and still dances.
thank you for this, Carola,
j.

tell me, is it true or a myth that ballerinas' feet are in terrible shape, almost deformed, from standing on their toes ?
