(In Shakespearean accent) To prose or repose, that is the question! (smile) I love this. Instead of a phantasmic muse, you wish for a tree from which to pluck word leaves from. Whitman had his "Leaves of Grass" but we seldom want those growing in our garden. Lovely thoughts elegantly expressed here. I enjoyed the read. F.

wow, thanks for your kind review fabian, & I'm pleased you liked it.
'in my spacious urban garden' hooked me
'finished i sigh lie back in utter repose' offered calm
i also visited your 'the honey bees' ... that returned me to the simpler years of many years past
good writes indeed

that tsunami would only happen to me under my word-tree !!

Wow, if words could grow on trees that would be really cool. Each branch and twig holding a different word, each with its own unique meaning, kind of like the leaves on a nornal tree, unique in its own way. I enjoyed reading this very much!
Might I ask, how did you change the color of your font and add an image along with your poem? I really like it.

Hello dear Carola. I am a tree-hugger myself. A wonderful poem and you are welcome.
ah yes ... would that it were so eh!? delightful poem for me ... put a gentle smile across my face .. can't help but think of the agonies we all go through striving to get things just so .. how simple it would be .. if words hung on trees ;)
