actually i posted this back in 2020, but wanted to lighten up the background colours & delete the index photo, 'cos my page here when i'm editing or adding a poem often says .... 'Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3072000 bytes) in /var/www/html/inc/functions.php on line 1547'
thought I'd reduce the memory size by deleting the index photo, did that & forgot the commentary also disappears. i like my poems to be visual as well as words. have also re-located the poem from the current 1st page back to the original sequence.

Aha! I happened to be having a moment when I can access this frustrating website, so I caught the posting of a new poem by my favorite poet down under! *smile* The later stages of life, as you describe, are when people tend to start wondering what kind of life they've lived. Didn't much worry about it while they're hard at it. But these idle years bring on this kind of introspection & often regrets (((HUGS)))

re your access frustration here with WC, I'm wondering could your browser be at fault try a different one & see how that works.

I've tried different browsers & deleting cookies, yadda, yadda. Lots of people having these problems. It's the website, not us. Clearly there are hour-long or 3-hour-long voids in the newsfeed, where everyone is not able to access this website.

Now in my middle age I'm finding my twilight drawing closer then ever before and asking a few of these questions posed in your remarkable poem. I did as best as I could with regrets and the intangibles I had no control of. I don't want to go through this again so I'm content with my time here. Thank you for this enjoyable read.
