I envy you for having such fabulous opportunities for bird watching. I've looked at some of your photos and have been mightily impressed by all those colorful creatures. We have robins, cardinals, blue jays and hummingbirds, but nothing to compete with your Ms. Rainbow.

such a pleasantly ethereal write...i think of one who is nymph-like...one we all stop to observe as she passes by, like that multi-colored image in the sky.

i wanted people to think it was a person, only to find out towards the end that it was actually a rainbow lorikeet. by the way i wrote 'she' but we have no idea as to its sex, as both have same colourings
