(Didactic Cinquain)... Disappointment in man's brutish behaviour

i'm trying my hand at a Didactic Cinquain which refers to a word count & not syllables & stresses, & so would be easier to write.

I have (well I had) two charities a year that I cater for one of them is a wildlife rehabilitation center and the other is an animal rescue shelter if you saw first hand some of the results of humanities abuse of animals it would make you absolutely heartbroken:(

no robert it wouldn't surprise me, & it makes me so angry. 😡
i sign on average 3 - 5 online petitions every day mostly dealing with animal issues around the globe about pet animals, farming animals & wildlife.

people are just deplorable, barbaric neanderthals that's the minimum i can say, & i hope that the universe's karma gives them equal & enduring retribution during their lifetime.

Seems we can't even handle the rescue part properly
A box type van carrying rescued dogs from Mexico to Canada crashed
I think 18(?) of 40 (?) died and quite a few are missing in whatever desert condition.
But they were being driven across the desert, in an unventilated space, all stacked in tight cages
Does that sound like a rescue?

no it sure doesn't.
i'm thinking sometimes rescuers are so focused on rescuing, they neglect to include in their thinking - is this the best way & what are the pitfalls, of how to actually conduct this rescue operation.

Dear Carola, we have a cat and a dog. Our family love our pets, they are part of our family. When our pets have died, we really mourn them. Your didactic cinquain reminds me of what I read in the paper frequently. Cruelty to animals and abandonment. I ask myself, how can anyone treat a living creature in this way. And then I turn to the meat markets in China and freeze. That says it all. Thought provoking brevity. Keep safe and well.

as much and as often as pets are mistreated, man mistreats his own far too often.
Sensitivity and love are dreadfully lacking.
