Under MoonlightA Poem by Carol Phelan Aebby "Under Moonlight" Oh, if I had the power to swirl days Into night, and nights into days to keep On holding sublime moments; kissing stars, Dancing under Selene as sun warms me! If I could be in the heart of a rose, Listening to petals chatting together; Preparing their debut under the sun, I would become a butterfly forever. Oh, if I could soar over on a cloud, And fall lightly like the mist before rain, I would become a bird of paradise To save all birds of prey from harm of man! Oh, if I could chat with an oak tree Ah, yes! If I had the power to make The world free of disasters; and to smile, Cleansing all sorrows and pain of the soul, I would kiss the stars of the human cosmos! © - Carol Phelan Aebby © 2015 Carol Phelan AebbyReviews
