Ecstasy

Ecstasy

A Poem by Carol Phelan Aebby

                           "Ecstasy"

A fresh breeze caress of life’s secrets whispers

As the fog clears and colors appear, I sense;

And wishes of sensual waves I have...

I wish I could feel your bare chest on mine,

Wake up in your arms to enjoy the magic

Of your love's charms, as the sun shines on us.

I wish I could be dawn to dusk, dusk to dawn,

Melting into you as one; where I belong,

Making waves of joy on the ocean of love...

I wish, I wish... I wish for all I know to be bliss,

Sighing to your soul as you embrace me tight

And we dance the beauty of our lives now...

Ah, Carol, your heart so lovely has penned an exquisitely beautiful romantic piece that communicates perfectly that longing to be with the one we love--an emotion that every human being can relate to as it shouts to the heavens that we are inadequately incomplete unless, and until, we are in the arms of that special one that makes this life sweet ...

Beautiful and hopeful words. Hope, wishes and dreams. Must be attempted.
"I wish, I wish... I wish for all I know to be bliss,
Sighing to your soul as you embrace me tight
And we dance the beauty of our lives now... "
I liked the above lines. Ecstasy. Needed place for us to find and embrace. Thank you Carol for sharing your amazing poetry.

A very loving and intimate piece Carol. The emotions you described are something that every relationship desires and hopes it lasts for a while longer than the early phases.
Great work, thanks for sharing it :) cheers

I wish I could feel your bare chest on mine,
Wake up in your arms to enjoy the magic
Of your love's charms, as the sun shines on us.

One of my best days lines.
Beautifully imagined and purely done friend.
Love it.
