Because Of . . .

Because Of . . .

A Poem by Carol Maric

Because Of . . .

Local Airwaves Dormant Days Were Forced To

Withdraw

Consulting Renderings Of . . .

Broad Banned

Connection Monitored Confluence Of . . .
Signings And Parcel Bombings At Best Of . . .
All Places Legendary--Wall Paintings Of . . .

(Confidence) Everything From “Reality”

Names Would Be Additional Process, Carved
Picture Palpable, Dispelling Widowed Orphans
Whose Mothers Show Progress Meeting
Demands Started Decaydes Ago

Intriguing Widest Release Of . . .

Siblings

Darken Settlements Overloaded Behind
Strong Performances Of . . .

Immune Interest

Ameliorated, The Speaker Returned Airporting
Touch Downs In Ceremonial Gesture Research

So Ubiquitous, That Drift Supports Seconds
Left Of . . .

The Early Momentum Path Past Profits

No Sobering Of . . .

I won't lie to you...although this is very well done, in its construction and execution, not to mention a completely unique style, it went totally over my head. LOL. Gimme a while to think and wake up, maybe have a drink, and then I'll be back to give it another shot. By the way, you and I used to talk a lot, read each other a lot. What happened to that, may I ask?

Hawksmoor...From The Bleed.

I loved the originality of the format and the words you used were something so much more simple would have been suffice. You decided to take this piece to the next level and spend the extra 10 minutes it needed, for thought and for creativity to take place. I could definitly tell the difference..

Especially the urgent ending..

Very original format and use of words. Some of the meanings and expressions, to me, seemed subliminal. Maybe that's why some of the piece seemed to flow over my head, but that happens often in sophisticated pieces. Which, by far, doesn't take anything away from it. Just means I need to expand my little thought box a bit.

A good brain with no distractions can only create something like this.

Excellent use of enjambment! I enjoyed it.... it may not have been deliberate, it might have just appeared in the voice you used for the piece, but regardless, it worked quite well!

Politics. Strife. The everyday... Life has become such a weighted, confusing thing in our modern times...

I rather like the structure - like a choppy stream of consciousness, or the dial picking up stations on a mental radio... the fact that I found it hard to follow, I think, is more of a reflection on the reader than the writer.
