Angels in the storm

Angels in the storm

A Poem by Carm Blackbeak

I could draw perfect angels in the storm,
With my words, but not my hands.
I could try to paint the devil,
On the keyboard, not the paper.
I should want to write a saint,
With big deeds and honour high,
Instead i descent where heaven isn't nigh.

Great poem! I've never read one like this before. I'm not sure what the meaning is, but it sounds like it's about making art of some sort, maybe literature, as a way of releasing thoughts and/or emotions. Whatever the true meaning is, this is very well executed and has a smart and mature tone to it! :)
