Chapter ThreeA Chapter by Dream CatcherMark Crossfield. I hate that name more than cold shower water. The very thought of him makes me want to rip out my hair. He was my first boyfriend. It was a summer fling. When we went out, he was everything to me. He made my heart jump. He took me places in his car. I trusted him. It wasn’t until one night. I told my parents I was going to sleep over Jen’s. But really, Mark was taking me to a party. He winded up getting drunk and tried taking me to bed. I never spoke to him after that. I stand in front of Mark’s door. Legs shaking. I feel like I’m going to throw up. Before I can knock, the door swings open. My mind goes blank. He looks at me hard. Eyebrows pushed together. He rubs his eyes like he just woken up. “Yes?” He asks with a confused tone. I open my mouth to speak but he interupts me, “Hey, I know you,” He now wears a goofy smile, “Lindsey?” “Yeah, that’s me. Did you see me around last night?” I look behind me as not wanting to make eye contact. “No, but, I can see you around now.” He leans close to me with a cocky smile. He cups his hand under my chin and lifts my head up towards him. “In your dreams.” I snap and walk away. Did he really expect me to hook up with him? I get an uneasy feeling as I see an unfamiliar green jeep in my drive way. © 2011 Dream CatcherReviews
