Lost you

Lost you

A Poem by Carlfinn

Verse 1
I was walking along lost in the crowd
Wondering what to do
A voice in my head told me to go ahead
And get back in touch with you

Verse 2
Not seen you for years unsure that the tears
I had left you with had gone by
Was kinda hoping they had as I'd been feeling so bad
I never wanted to see you cry

Verse 3
I see you're not home not answering the phone,
Left you a message anyway
Please call me back so we can just chat
And hopefully meet up again some day

Bridge

Verse 4
So I should've know when you never answered your phone
That you'd moved on and I was just a memory
Guess I don't blame ya, your heart I did mame ya
The only person I can blame is me

Chorus
Moving on moving on that's what you've done
Forgot we once had a new life you've begun
Moving on moving on what we once had
Some of them good times not all of them bad
