Someone Special

Being your friend, it's really quite easy,
It requires no effort and we talk oh so freely,
When we are together our energies gel,
Creating some light where others may dwell

Like a kindred spirit, you are to me,
A breath of fresh air, calm wind from the sea,
Your soul it sings like a sweet humming bird,
And your outlook on life just has to be heard

A kindhearted soul with so much to give,
An encapsulating smile, a pleasure to be with,
Your ear it has listened, your shoulder I've cried on,
Reassuring my fears until they have gone

Starting adventures and trying something new,
Exciting new things, sharing with you,
Having some laughs and being a bit mad,
Putting good in the world instead of the bad
