Really see me

Really see me

A Poem by Carley S.

you see a girl that talks a lot
I see a girl who talks so she doesnt hear the silence
who doesnt want to be left by herself
afraid she will start thinking  about the pain
you see a girl who thinks shes queen
I see a girl who thinks she is nothing more than a pesent
you shove you words down her throat
every note a sorrowful tune
burn them in her skin
leaving a scar that spells out worthless!
you see a girl and dont relize how much you words mean
a life preserver for her but she not sure if she should float or sink
as if the darkness could somehow end the pain
I see a girl who wants to touch the stars
but  get pulled back down to Earth on a string of reality and judgement
well let me tell you this
THAT REALITY IS ABOUT TO CHANGE!!
that girl is gonna wake up and no longer be under the thick emotional blanket
she will feel light and love and happiness
she will change the hearts of many
and you will look back and relize it was you who was in the wrong
that that little girl grew up and touched the stars
your words didnt matter in the end
she was stronger than you in the end!
you see a worthless girl
I see me.
