Boxes

Boxes

A Poem by Carley Hew
"

Blah blah, I am depressed tonight, this is what I give.

"
Boxes scatter my bedroom floor, I am home, not the place I want to be
College books fill my shelves, I am an English major, not sure if it's for the pleasure or for the chance of future fame
Single, I am, seems to be the biggest issue in my life, not sure if he'll ever find me
Tomorrow I work, I am underpaid, not sure I will ever be able to quit
Fear fills my body, I am alone, not an unusual sensation for me
Boxes still fill my bedroom floor, I am at a place I call home, not sure where I want to be
