Roll Of The Dice

Roll Of The Dice

A Poem by Carl Douglas Sinderby
"

I wrote this poem thinking about the manner and issues of this current economic climate.

"
Is this cost of living bringing a new beginning,
Reminding us to live within our means,
As Putin gains his pleasure to crumble our pockets,
Is it now time to send in the killer rockets,
Dear Ukraine, We try our best to gather our love throughout the west,
You've shown your strength through blood and tears,
We keep an eye open in the wake of more fears,
No energy to spare and pockets in despair,
How have we spent so much in a world of none care,
We live in the moment to gain what we can own,
Until we are unable to help other war zones,
I'm sure we'll get through, But at what price,
Its a random existence with a roll of the dice.
