Another sappy poem about Edward and Bella. Edwards P.O.V. this time.

 

I had no reason before

To even exist in this world

But then she came along

And I was found

 

Her smell, brought me in

But I controlled the longing

And I got to know her

And she was like my cure

 

She eased the pain

For not being human

But as I got closer

The more I wanted to be like her

 

I wanted a heartbeat

I wanted to be warm

I wanted to touch her

I wanted to love her

 

Fantasies clouded my mind,

But I pushed them away.

 

I didn’t have a heartbeat

I was colder than ice

I couldn’t touch her

Without wanting to drink

 

I’ll stay seventeen forever,

But she never will

 

She found me

She brought the most

Human I could be

And I can love her

 

For the rest of my existence,

And the rest of her life.
